"Meat Proxy"
I stumbled across a piece of developer slang today that feels far too real: a meat proxy.
It describes a person who receives a question, pastes it into an AI chatbot, and immediately copy-pastes the unedited output back to their team without reading or validating the AI slop.
In network terms, a proxy forwards requests between servers. A meat proxy is just the biological version of that, a piece of flesh standing between a human prompt and an AI response while contributing zero original thought.
It is equal parts funny and annoying. If someone asks a question and gets a generic four-paragraph essay response two seconds later, everyone knows what happened. You might as well just invite the chatbot to the channel and cut out the middleman.
